It is a sad fact that people simply love to make things far more complicated than they ever need to be. Healing yourself is one of the unfortunate casualties of a need to confuse a natural process.

Healing require three main ingredients:

1.    Focus
2.    Balance
3.    Awareness

The best thing one can ever focus on is their breath. You breath should be your best friend in life, after all it is our No. 1 resource, our essential life force energy. Think about this for a second, if you just stop right now and focus only on your breath going in and out of your nostrils. Then, while remaining totally present to this sensation, ask yourself the question, “In this very moment in time what is the problem?”

You will soon be met with the response, “Absolutely nothing.”

All of our problems, issues, concerns and anything else you would like to refer to them as are simply a negative reflection of the past or a fearful prediction of the future. When we are totally present in the moment we are able to experience the true nature of bliss.

Now that’s pretty interesting wouldn’t you say?

So how do you actually put this into practice. Well there are three main steps you need to follow in order to heal and transform your life:

1.    Be Aware
2.    Be Aware
3.    Smile Often

This is by far my favourite system for healing because it is so simple yet highly effective.

This process makes it possible to gain wonderful learnings, to grow as an individual and experience the true fulfilment, relief and joy you receive from taking control of your life.

1.    Be Aware

Now as simple as this may sound you would be amazed as to how many people out there are missing vital cues in the healing and transformation process that identify when your body is ready to shift. So when entering into the healing process set a very clear intention to be open and receptive to your body’s cues. Listen to and feel your intuition and respond accordingly.

Mediation or any form of silent contemplation prior to any form of positive change is a vital key to being aware. I strongly recommend to anyone regardless of your area of expertise to engage is some form of mental silence for at least 20 minutes per day. The more you do it the louder your intuition will become. It is a known fact that all successful, healthy people are intuitive on some level.

2.    Be Aware

This is really where the healing and transformation process takes on a whole new meaning. The second reference to ‘be aware’ relates to your ability to detach from the situation and become the silent observer offering strategic guidance to yourself as you are engaged in your healing and transformation. This detachment and observation is what allows you to tap into the ‘void’ where you can guide your words, your actions and objectively see yourself and your body interacting in the process.

This detachment is the key to mastering your emotions and leading your life in the direction you desire it to go. I can’t be any clearer when I say everything you are doing in your life is a sale of some form. When you are feeling down or you are in a negative emotional state you need to ‘sell’ yourself out of it. Don’t you? And by following the first two steps you are well on your way to moving ahead, closing the deal or signing the contract to a better life and greater health.

3.    Smile Often

Once you are aware in the healing and transformation process and then you are aware by becoming the observer then all you need to do is remember to smile often and know that it is all just a game.

If you are able to emotionally detach from the outcome during the healing and transformation process you are more likely to be present in the now and therefore enjoy a much deeper connection and bond with your body.

Smiling often really gives you the freedom to not take life so seriously. I think we all need to learn from the Oscar Wilde quote:

“Life is far too important a thing ever to talk seriously about.”

Taking anything of a healing nature seriously isn’t going to get you anywhere. The act of smiling really interrupts any negative states you may encounter as a result of the perceived potential outcomes. If you learn to gently smile with your body and not just your face when you are going through physical hardship and laugh on the inside then you are well on your way to feeling the relief that comes from letting go of expectations as the body begins to naturally heal.

By smiling you free yourself to get the feedback and valuable learnings that can be found behind every feeling and intuitive solution that you receive. Mastering self-healing is an evolution filled with growth opportunities at every turn.

I had to meditate on this for a good 6 months and every day I would understand it at a deeper level so take the time to contemplate this deeply and enjoy the results you achieve.
