Ever wondered what the formula for happiness is? Well your wait is over. A team of Scientists were commissioned with the task of discovering the happiness formula. After compiling their research they came up with the following equation for happiness:
H = S + C + V
“The secret of happiness is freedom. The secret of freedom is courage.” – Thucydides It is a sad fact that people simply love to make things far more complicated than they ever need to be. Healing yourself is one of the unfortunate casualties of a need to confuse a natural process.
I have good news and bad news. First the bad news: you can’t do it all. That long to-do list you have staring at you? Working harder, longer and more frantically will not help you get all your boxes checked. The reason is because more tasks, more responsibilities, and more activities keep piling on. One of the things I do with my clients is look after their super funds. When we get to talking about it and looking at the balance, most people have absolutely no idea how much they should have in their account. I always found it strange when I went to primary school and the other kids spoke about their parents. They would say that they were annoying or mean or they just didn’t like them in general. Don’t get me wrong, kids say a lot of mean stuff and most of them, I’m sure, didn’t mean it; but at the time I couldn’t understand why they felt that way.
